This Privacy Policy describes how Soumya Ranjan Sahu ("I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the AuraFit AI mobile application (the "App").

To provide a personalized coaching experience, we collect the following types of information:
Personal Information You Provide:
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address.
- Health & Fitness Data: During the onboarding assessment, you provide us with your gender, date of birth, current weight, and current height. You also provide information about your fitness goals, activity levels, and equipment access.
- Food and Exercise Logs: We collect the photos of meals you upload, the food logs you enter manually, and the exercises you complete.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as which features you use and for how long.
- Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the device model and operating system version.
Permissions-Based Information:
- Camera Access: We require access to your camera to allow you to use the AI food logging and form check features. We only access your camera when you actively use these features.
- Location Information: With your explicit permission, we may collect your general location to improve the accuracy of our AI's nutritional estimates based on regional food variations. You can use the App without granting location permission.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to provide and improve the core functionality of the App. Specifically, we use your data to:
- Personalize Your Experience: Your health and fitness data is used to calculate your BMI and create personalized workout and nutrition plans tailored to your specific goals.
- Provide AI-Powered Features: We send your inputs (such as food photos, exercise names, and profile data) to third-party AI services, such as Google's Gemini API, to generate plans, analyze nutrition, and provide coaching feedback. These services are contractually obligated to handle your data securely.
- Track Your Progress: We store your workout and food logs to power your daily and weekly summaries, allowing you to track your progress over time.
- Improve the App: We analyze anonymous usage data to understand which features are most popular and to identify areas for improvement.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- With AI Service Providers: As mentioned above, we share the necessary data with our AI service providers (e.g., Google) to power the app's core features. This data is used solely to generate a response for your request.
- As Required by Law: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a law enforcement or governmental authority.
4. Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your personal information.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the "Profile & Settings" screen within the App. When you delete your account, all of your personal data, including your workout and food logs, will be permanently erased from our servers.
- Start Over: You can choose to start a new assessment at any time. This will delete all your previous plans and progress, allowing you to create a new plan from scratch.
- Device Permissions: You can manage camera and location permissions at any time through your device's settings.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data very seriously. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice within the App. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
